What is Independent Living?
Independent Living Communities are on campus living options designed specifically for Junior and Seniors students who want the experience and convenience of living on campus, but seek a more independent lifestyle. Residents will find that programs in Independent Living are more applicable to the experienced student preparing for life after the University. Students who live in Independent Living Communities are not required to purchase a meal plan. Alcohol is allowed in Villa Alvarado for those who are the age of 21 as long as all housing policies are followed. All Independent Living Communities are apartment style.

Where is Independent Living?

Independent Living Communities are housed in Aztec Corner (5504 Montezuma Road) and Villa Alvarado Apartments (6161 Alvarado Road).
